A Special Sign for a Speical Lil Man

One of my girlfriends is pregnant with her second child and wanted a word sign of her son's name for her pregnancy pictures. This is what I came up with for her...

What I did was cut 6"x6" squares in the different colored scrapbook paper. Then I rounded the corners with my Fiskars corner rounded {I love this rounder because it is so easy to cut with and see where I'm cutting}. Then I printed the letters using my Silhouette. Glued the letters onto the squares. Punched holes at the top of the squares and tied it all together using two different types of ribbon.

I can't wait to see her pictures with the sign in a few short weeks!

A Dream Come True...A Silhouette Discount!

I have been dreaming about getting my very own Silhouette for months. To be honest, I used to want a Cricut and then I learned about all the wonderful things I could do with a Silhouette. Take a look:

I think this will be my first project!

One of my fav blogs, Tatertots and Jello has this great offer posted. For $225 (which is a HUGE savings) you will get:
  • Silhouette SD Machine
  • 1 Roll of Premium Black Vinyl
  • 1 Roll of Premium Frosted Glass Vinyl
  • 1 Roll of Premium Transfer Paper
  • Home Decor CD
Go to the Silhouette website, add the Silhouette SD Machine to your cart and then type in the code TATER, everything else should be added for you automatically.
