I'm excited and proud to have my friend Kelly guest post about Pampered Chef and their efforts to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Take a look at all of the fun stuff they are offering. Everyone knows someone who has had cancer. As the wife of a cancer survivor and friend and family member of far too many other cancer survivors, cancer awareness, education, and early detection is high on my list of causes to champion. One of my New Years Resolutions this year was to do more to raise money and awareness in 2011 and so, not only will I be participating in a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk later this year but, as a Pampered Chef consultant, I’m also trying to raise as much money as possible through the Help Whip Cancer campaign.

Throughout the month of May The Pampered Chef is raising money for the American Cancer Society through Help Whip Cancer fundraiser shows. Since the campaign’s beginning in 2000 more than $10 million has been raised for breast cancer education and early detection programs across the country.  I’m hoping to personally raise $1,000 this month and my wonderful friend Kelly and Collide Studio have offered me an awesome opportunity to make great progress toward my goal by sharing this message with you!

The Pampered Chef will donate 15% of the sales if they are $150-$299, 20% for $300-$499, and 25% for sales of $500 or more! Plus, there are limited edition Help Whip Cancer products available only this month and $1 from the purchase of any of these will be donated AND, if you’re interested in hosting a show of your own (cooking or catalog) another $3 will be donated. Plus, there’s a great Father’s Day special to take advantage of this month!
